| Looking at a new bucktail setup. Which do you prefer? The new Fenwick models or G. Loomis. 7 foot 6 inches med heavy action is the length and action preferred. Thanks![:)] | |

| MDOG,
Just thought I would give you a quick response with my humble opinion. Both rods are great rods for different people. I think you should go with whichever one feels most comfortable for you. I think whichever one you pick , it will do a fine job. Good luck at the "Cave" this week.

| First let me say both rods are great but in my opinion your comparing apples and oranges. Fenwicks for the money is the best buy, and Loomis for quality, weight and warranty is better (yes, I'm sponsored by Loomis but facts are facts) also if you decide on the Loomis I would recommend the med over the med/hvy for bucktails, just my thoughts.[:praise:] | |

| I would like to second that motion about buying the one that feels good for YOU.
Chuck is correct Loomis is a better (if not the best) manufactured rods . I know one of the guys that developed the graphite that Loomis uses. He says that it is unmatched??? But he also says that he invented the question mark.... so ya never know??!!
