This goes along with my lakewood tackle box post. I am just looking for different options. How do you guys like the Flambeau Maximizer? How many baits on average will it hold when putting medium to large lures in it? Thanks for any info!

The one I have now has about 65 baits in it right now. Bucktails would account for about half that. It is great for bucktails, cranks, and gliders. Assuming the baits you put in are not horribly big. I do have a 10in jointed believer that fits ok. Bulldawgs have to be stored in seperate compartments. Suicks Can be stored 2 and maybe 3 to a compartment. Regular bucktails 2-3 easily in one compartment. Big Bucktails and Spinnerbaits 1-2 in a compartment.

You can stand on it but is not advised because lid does flex with me(150lbs) on top.

Hope this helps

Go to : www.jacksonlures.com and check out the Mate model 1345 box. I have a couple and really like them. Not as bulletproof or heavy as a Dunwright, but with reasonable care, it should last awhile.
