Who made today's show? Was it worth it? Did any of you pick up the last "Got To Have It Baits" of the muskie show season? How were the talks? How did Bill Schwartz do all by himself at the Slammer Booth?

Steve,I was there, now to answer your questions...Yes for me it was worth going,I enjoyed Dick Pearsons' talks,as always very informative.Bill was doing an excellent job and he even let me get my finger prints on several baits without forcing me to buy one [] ,I did pick up some lures, mostly spinners and I even a got a 6" Slammer. Good Luck to all,Paul

I was there too, and it looked like Bill Schwartz was holding his own, I only briefly talked with him and bought an 8" Deep Diver. Dick Pearson was very good, he even had a MuskieFirst plug. It was also nice to finally meet JoMusky, I am going to try to make his club's next meeting. Sorry I didn't get to meet you fishing fool, I'm pretty sure I saw you but was not able to chat. The only other thing I bought besides the Slammer crankbait was a flourescent green Pacemaker, I had to buy it after seeing it in the pool!! All in all a very good show.

I was there. I thought it was great! I listened to Dick's first seminar and took home some ideas to try in the lake I fish most(no Canada trips planned). I thought the poolside demos were excellent and the guys casting were helpful. They answered any technique questions I had.
Bill was doing fine. I was admonished to stay away from you, Steve, unless I wanted to be convinced to buy the whole store. I heard that you frequently sell dirt to farmers.
And I did buy a 5" deep diver from Bill.
Jlong was helpful, as was Krappie. I saw Jomusky, but didn't get a chance to talk to him.
You missed a great time!

My wife and I were there. I picked up two bucktails that A&L Lures made for me and also got a Tolly Wog from Nimmers.
My wife bought a Sliddin Shad (she liked how it worked in the pool) and a clear bait holder for around the seat post.
First time I've heard Dick Pearson and it was worth it. I have his book but its nice two hear it in person.

I made the mistake of leaving to watch the Badgers on TV, I should have stayed around for Dicks second talk.

I was there too, First time...I will be going back again as I had a lot of fun. Great to meet you, JoMusky, Laura and JLong. Great to see you guys, Krappie and Klein. Pearson's talks were worth the trip alone.

First time at this show, alot to do in a short period of time. Had a nice chat with Bruce Shumway, his pool side was very good. Picked up the clear inserts for my Plano box...very cool!. Brought home the Magnum Pacemaker, and (2) Shumway spinners. Stuffed a couple double cheeseburgers in my face and listened to Dick Pearson...A great way to spend a day if you can't be on the water.

I was there with two of my friend, the talk with dick person was worth the trip alone. The no. of booths were down this year, but the quality was still there. Stayed all day, the 2nd talk by dick was as good as the first. Talked to a few of the boys from MUSKIEfirst but mostly worked over the slammer baits(fingerprints)knowing that you were not there. Ended up buying 9 of billys finest, will have to get them chewed up this year and hang some more up on"the wall of fame" in the garage.
