A buddy and I are going to fish the "Cave" this comming week and would like to know the condition of the lake. This is my buddy's first trip there and my first Spring trip there.

Temp ?

Murky ?

Flats high and dry ?

Last week a couple of us fished Green River and found it low and cold, never saw a follow.[:((]

Hate to spoil your plans, but I would cancel trip to cave this week. I went down yesterday and put in at longbow after heavy rain previous day and night.Air temps mid forties and water looked like chocolare milk/w strong current.Only other boats on water were Tony and clients.Weather this week calls for rain thru thurs, dryout for wkend but temps only upper 30sto mid 40s. Sorry, but I'm being as optimistic as I can.[:blackeye:]

Yeah, Friday night brought in some real toad-stranglers, but the water will clear with time. At least it is liquid and not solid water. The fish don't exactly move to dry land when it rains, we'll find 'em. m[;)]

It's still a lot more fishable then what I have around here.
I still have 10" of snow in my yard. []
