Location: Iowa | Does anybody know where you can find the measurements of a particular motor, meaning the engine housing measurements...the length a motor is from the front to the back the long way compard to another motor...basically a 225 Mecury Verado vs. a Yamaha 225...or how far a particular motor sticks out beyond the end of the boat...

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I think the only way to find that information out is either by going and actually measuring the motors that you are interested in knowing about, or sending emails to the companies. They might know off hand for you. But I would say actually going and doing it yourself would be a better bet! Just my thoughts. |

The service manual for my Yamaha 90 has the dimensions for all of the ones you mentioned. So..you could possibly stop by a dealer's service shop and ask to see their shop manuals...they might be willing to let you do that.
