Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I tweaked my Perch a bit too and I think this latest pattern looks better than my prior efforts. It's a never ending search for perfection that keeps me working hard at this.
With some of the guys who have been posting baits lately, the bar keeps on getting higher and higher!

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I prefer to think of the other guys baits as inspiration rather than competition. I'm fortunate enough to have built a steady supply of repeat customers that keep me as busy as I could ever want to be. I do love seeing what else is being created by the guys that post here. Some truly beautiful craftsmanship and talent. |

Location: The desert | Hey Mike,
Looks great! I do have a few suggestions......Perhaps its the lighting in the picture but when I think of a perch I picture it a bit darker, then again maybe wisconsin perch are just weird looking. Also, like when I ordered my stuff from you I think it would be cool if you could add just a slight orange tint to the belly and fade it a bit into the white that you have. Other than that looks awesome man!
DISCLAIMER: To people that read this message do not come back and post how I am being disrespectful to Mike and his talents. I am a proud owner of 4 snax baits and I love his work. Through emails back and forth with him I know that he loves hearing suggestions or how to add variety to the work that he does.
Keep up the great work Mike!! Something big is going to come on that walleye of mine this summer! |

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Hey mike, thanks for the suggestions. The lighting in the photo did make it look lighter than it really is. I'll have to edit it. I had another customer say the same thing to me earlier today. As for posting comments, people can feel free to say whatever they feel as long as they are willing to log in and be respectfull about it. I strive to keep every customer completely satisfied with their baits and with my service. So far so good. |

Location: The desert | I figured it was just the picture....looks a bit washed out in the first one...sort of reminds me of the ones I disected in Ichthyology! The second one looks awesome! Would be cool if you could get a faint hint of orange along part of the belly...I see a little on there, but perhaps you could fade it into the green.....not sure if that is possible, i have no concept of art! |

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I can always customize any of the basic patterns to suit the customers requests. It's amazing how many different varations exist for every baitfish out there! I have a large collection of reference photos to draw from and I swear sometimes they all look completely different from lake to lake. |

| These are the best that I can come up with, and I'm proud!
I have accepted the fact that I will never be a Snax.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska | Hey beaver those are nice! You have chrome painting to your name also man... every painter has their own special painting/artwork for their lures, and Snax happens to be real good at realistic styles. |
