Looking to up grade the trolling motor on my 620 from a 80lb power drive to a 36 volt 100 lb thrust system, cable drive. Motorguide of Minkota. Any thoughts??
Thanks

I will be putting the new Terrova on my boat. I've talked to people who have used the motor and they are very pleased. With the new US2, the system should work well.

If your looking for a cable driven trolling motor, I would highly suggest the Minn Kota Maxxum. That motor is basically indestructable! With the new Maxxum Pro introduced last year, and the universal sonar feature, that motor is hard to beat! Just my opinion.

I have a late-model Maxxum Pro 80 on my Crestliner and really appreciate the "lift-assist" feature. Really makes putting the motor in and out of the water a snap.

Another vote for the Minn Kota Maxxum. By far the best trolling motor I've ever used.
