Subject: pewaukee colors?





Location: Northern Wisconsin
hello, im going to order a custom spinner bait and i get to pick any colors i want. i
want to get one that will be good on pewaukee, when i fish there i fish the weeds
and weed lines. do you have any recomendation for a good color spinner bait and
what type/color of blades.

thanks, any info would help.

Steve, black and white deer hair with a small colorado and #7 wide willow blade
(both in silver) worked well for me in the past.

The Buchertail in Parrot color has been one of my best bucktails on Pewaukee. I bet that would work for a spinnerbait, too. At night, I'd go black hair, and silver blade(s) on a spinner bait.

Try a XX in a RUST color with a gold blade. I've had follows on that bait along with a black w/redtail and a chrome blade.
