Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | I have about 15 of these lures, my question is :::......There is no split ring where I attach the 80-100 lb. line to.....So do I need to attach a #6 or #7 triple split ring in order to increase the action or fish it as is ????
Do any of you guys add split rings to the tag line???
BTW I upgrade all of the split rings on all of the hooks.
Thanks, Jerome |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | yes, add a Bucher #7 split ring to the nose of the bait, and I can't tell from your post, but you should also use a good quality musky leader as well, like a 174 pound straight wire or 130-180 pound fluoro leader. |

Location: Rhinelander. | I like a flexable wire leader on those. 65lb test and I make my own snaps for them. They are roundes at the business end so no split ring needed.
