I picked up a Salmo Fatso in a sale bin a year ago. I think it is the sinking version. I've not used it very much and can't seem to get much side to side movement out of it. When I try to jerk or twitch the thing the only thing I notice is a bit of a wiggle. Can anyone give me some tips on how to work this bait? Has anyone had any success on this thing?

Thats about all they do....and they sink like a rock...I don't really care for them myself.

Hi Muskylund1,

don´t jerk or twitch it just reel the Fatso in or use it as a trolling bait.
They´re awesame fish getters but i would say no real Jerkbaits.
Give them a try just reeling in and hang on, I´m shure after 2 weeks you´ll never miss him.

They actually have a nice wobble. You can work them anyway you want and really fast is a goiod way to do it. A couple years ago i was working one and here comes this jetskier, i realled it in as fast as I could to fire a warning cast at him and ended up figure-eighting a fish instead. I have caught some really dandy bass on it and lost what would have been my biggest ever walleye on one as well.
