Location: Omaha, Nebraska | Last winter Beaver and Stan Durst came out with a new paint syle for musky lures, chrome. I am just wondering did the lures that were chromed produce fish for you people who bought them? I guess one sign might be that I cant recall see any chrome painted lures on the buy, sell, and trade thread...

Location: Marshfield, WI | Some people must like them if they paid $50 for a depth raider on the Buy-Sell board. I do think I saw one or two chrome baits from Stan on the boards for sale last summer. I think they were perkas.

Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | I'm thinking (and i am no means an expert) that chrome and prism lures work better on bright days, because they can only reflect the amount of light available. More light= more flash. I think Heiting also said the same thing in one of his videos. |

Location: Boulder Junction | Stan made a couple chrome cisco depth raiders for me last winter. Their is something about his chrome that is more lifelike than real chrome - more of a buffed finish. I'm sure I will do well with it; it looks great in the water just didn't fish it much. They are the two baits at the bottom.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska | O boy those bottom 2 chrome DRs look SWEET.
Rob, I see your point about how they would prolly work better on bright days but nonetheless I think they would attract fish even without the light just like any other color that doesnt reflect sunlight. |

| DO you know if everything is alright with Stan Durst? He has my check since last year for some Crane Baits and I haven't heard anything from him lately.
If you can reach him, please ask him to call me at home. I don't have E-Mail anymore and I'm working off a borrowed computer.
