I saw these gloves on the Outdoor Life network. They seem to really protect you when "lipping" a toothycritter. Anyone know where I can get one? They are not in Cabelas or Bass Pro catalogs.

Muskiekid,
I was selling them at my booth through out the Shows that I did this spring,I sold the last pair at the Hamburg Show. They come in a left or a right handed, not as a pair. You can buy them direct from Lindy at: http://www.lindylittlejoe.com

I bought a pair for last season, and quickly found myself not using them. The protective material is fairly stiff, and hard to feel through. Also fairly abrasive. Pearson put them on once in my boat to land a fish, and complained the entire time. Might want to check them out in person before purchasing by mail.

Muskiekid,
The Lindy Glove is not cheap at $26.95 on Lindy's website. But,I just talked to Dan Marking the Sales & Marketing Rep.,the quantities are deminishing quickly, from over 2000 pair to around 400 pair as you read this.So if your interested in getting the glove, either in Left hand or Right hand, you must order very soon or their stock will be gone till they can get another restock in late April.Although on the expensive side, this is a quality glove that every boat that fishes Toothy Critters should have onboard. Muskiekid,

The Cabela's Tackle Shop 2002 catalog has them for $19.99.

They look like a great idea. Do they provide much protection against treble hooks??

Don't remember where your from but if you have a Gander Mountain near you they have them.

I second the motion on "too stiff for a good feel"....Now that didn't sound nice...[]

I use a thin kevlar glove with a thin rubber coating that I buy at a contractors supply house. The are flexible and you don't loose dexterity or feel.
