Can someone help me with this one? The Tuffy website says that the 1760 weighs 1500lbs. However, that can't be true across all of the options(console, walkthrough, ect) Usually there is a weight difference. What is the weight of a tiller?

Thanks!

the console itself really doesn't weigh all that much, so the tiller's only slightly lighter in boat weight.
you will save pounds having a lighter motor in the tiller version.
also, if you get the new "G" version without the fiberglass top-cap, you'll save a couple hundred pounds over the listed weight.

i think my '06 GT is about 1300 pounds fully loaded:

JP, is that weight question with a 75hp or a 90 hp tiller? Maybe just drive an hour or so at a time. Drive, fish, drive, fish until you get to your final distination. Considering all those diet cokes, you have to stop anyway. Can I sit in your boat?

the 1760 is rated for 75hp max.
any boats out there with a larger motor on them (there are one or two with 90hp that i know about) are non-compliant with USCG regs, and could get the owner into a sticky situation if they have a thorough insurance agent.

Capt Bigfish was reffering to a console vs a tiller.
