WOW! estimated 50 lbs using Musky Hunter and Musky Inc. formula.

Where? Cedar Lake Ontario.

That's not me....I wish it was...at least holding the muskie.

Jeff caught the muskie using a large sucker on 10-26-06. His wife, Connie, lost one perhaps a little larger about 20 minutes before.

Jeff and Connie manage Clark's Northern Lights resort. The resort has improved a lot since Karla and Wayne, owners of Clark's Resorts on the Indian Lake Chain took over. And, Jeff and Connie go out of their way to help you. At least, that is what I experienced last year.

I caught a 49" on a lowrider last September and hope to improve on that this year. I'm headed there August 4th and then September 22nd. Looking forward to air condition and satellite tv in August in one of their deluxe cabins. Then, in September, I'm looking forward to learning more about using suckers. Only fished one day last year after Jeff explained how, etc. I lost a mid/upper 40" using a sucker. Lots of fun.

Although I've never experienced a large muskie, I've heard stories of muskies over 60" roaming Cedar Lake. I don't think the lake is a numbers lake, but one that offers truly a fish of a life time. I still see a muskie trying to get my lure several years ago. I guess that is why I keep going back. And, Jeff and Connie, along with Karla and Wayne, make it an enjoyable stay.

If you book Clark's Northern Lights, mention my name....oh, I don't get anything other than enjoyment of recommending a resort and people who I enjoy doing business with.

Perhaps, others can share stories or pictures of muskies caught in Cedar Lake Ontario.

What a nice looking fish. I've fished Cedar Lake a couple of times and must say I've seen some big girls but catching them is another story! No pictures from me.....just great memories of what could of been.:-( Black and orange bulldawgs have been the best for follow-ups for me.

I've heard great things about Cedar and Cliff. I hope to go there some day.

Beautiful fish!!! Thanks for the post and sharing the pic as well as mentioning the resort/lake.
Could you tell me exactly where in Ontario Cedar Lake is...I fish out of Nestor Falls (LOTW and Crow/Kakagi) for a week each summer. Just wondering about how far it is from there.
Thanks again, Jake
