Location: Apollo, PA | Lost my Dad on Wed., he lived a very good life at 88. Had only a few tough years with illness.
Held him when he passed and handed him to the big guy for safe keeping. You older guys know what i mean, you younger guns - spend time with your loved ones... whether your fishing or not. God Bless our parents, where would we be without them. Peace, Pikiespawn |

| Pikiespawn,
I'm sorry for your loss. Never forget the good times.
My father is my #1 fishing partner. There isn't a single person in this world I would rather have netting my fish. We work as a team on and off the water formulating game plans, etc. The bonds formed fishing with a loved one are unique to this sport. In fact, he came over this morning to watch the 57" and 58" online vid. Thanks, Dad if you read this!
May the healing process go swiftly for you! |

Location: Columbus, Georgia | Every day that I fish I think about and remember what it was like to fish with my father.
He introduced me to fishing, and I think I enjoy the sport so much because it has been
a consistent connection since he died 38 years ago.
All of my sympathies to Pikespawn.

Location: The desert | Sorry for you loss Pikie. I enjoy every minuted I get to spend with my dad. A divorce split him and I apart but now that I am on my own for the most part I get to spend more time with him and talk to him more. You're the best dad.

Location: Racine, Wi | Sorry to hear of your loss. My grandfather recently passed (on his 89th birthday) and the whole time, I just thought how difficult that would be. I'm lucky that my father and I have been close my entire life. We'll keep you and your family in our prayers. |

| Condolences from here, too, Pikiespawn. I lost my Dad 5 years ago at a young 73. We spent lots of time on Lake Erie and in duck blinds. Wish I'd have known about the Canadian fishing when he was able. If I could go back in time, I'd take him and my wife's Dad up for a week. They never knew each other, but shared a love for the outdoors and fishing...that must be where my wife and I got it. Peace to you and yours.

| Pike,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My family and I will keep you and your family in our prayers. I like pointer lost a few years with my dad because of a divorce. But time has past and wounds have healed. I wish things would have been different, but unfortunetly they were not. Your words serve as a reminder to us all that life is short and we need to cherish and love each other for all were worth. I want to thank you because even in your greif you managed to pass on to all of us the best of yourself and what your dad was. Good luck Pike and God bless you.

| Pikespawn...sorry about your loss, and nice post for those who still have their Dads.
Lost mine 14 years ago next month, and I still, to this day, reflect back on the MANY good times we spent in the boat and chasing tip ups, not to mention hunting trips in various states/provinces! |

Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | My condolences Pikie. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. Just lost my Dad on Nov 4th of last year. Still pretty fresh in my mind. I hope that you have as many memories of your dad as I have of mine. He was not only my dad but also my very best friend my whole life. Keep his memory close by at all times, it will help a lot. Again, very sorry for your loss. |

| My sincere condolences, it is a very difficult time, but soon the great memories of the times the two of you spent together will be foremost in your mind.
I have a great son (Pointer), and I treasure every moment we spend together.
Mike, you are the best!
