I actually quit drinking after the honeymoon.....cut myself off. Now if I could just quit the smokes, diet pills and sleeping pills.....But I have lost 30lbs+ in the last 6 months, and I workout 5-7X a week. SO, the question is, which will happen first, I get in great shape and live a healthy life, or die of a massive coronary from all my stupidity.
Also, the AMMA and other baits are still for sale....top bid is a MEASLEY $130, COME ON YOU MUSKY NUTZ, THIS IS GOOD STUFF!!!!!

| It appears that Slamr is suffering symptoms of withdrawal combined with an unballenced mix of sleeping pills and diet pills and is taking it out on the world. You have issues my boy which need to be addressed. Have you considered a conselor? Perhaps you should consider joining walkin_holy's bible study group? Maybe they can help you discover your softer side?
ps. My money is on Lungin, you talk a good game but I'd never put my money on some Sally who needs sleeping pills and diet pills to improve their image. | |

Let's not forget that size is a factor in the almighty equation. These 28" and 30" fish in 8 and 9 hours on the water aren't gonna help you in the long run!
And I'd strongly recommend meeting Walking_Holy and his new lady friend for tea and crumpets on Sunday afternoon at his house. It might be a very enlightening experience for you. You need some direction, my young friend!

| Who thought a silly little contest between friends could end up like this. And the season isn't even open in a majority of the country!
Maybe I should have coughed up the money. I am always up for taking cheap shots at other people. That alone is worth the money. I am not going to get much fishing in this year, so I could have won the contest easily. One trip, one 45" and the money would have been mine.

None of us actually believe you fish....who schedules a wedding in JUNE??? I missed the Chicago Muskie show because of my wedding, but JUNE!!!??? Once again, like Lungin (where does that name come from anyway? You are the Driveway, Mr. Banazack....you would have to catch fish to get a name like Lungin'!) I hope that she is a hottie, and will pleasure you on a very consistent basis. Women come and go (in my case they come over and over and over....but they just never GO!) but muskie seasons are finite. When you look back on your life, on your death bed, many many many years from now....and you search for the reason you are STILL stuck on 39" as your biggest fish, you will realize it was because you didn't join the Syndicate in their inagural season. I do hope you are ok with that. Actually, setme, just give it up now....give me your muskie gear, switch to bass, they're all small, you should be used to small fish by now.....or you will have to get used to it as the years turn into decades, as you watch your kids and grandkids catch bigger and bigger muskies than you. Native American Eskimo (who else can rig a sucker in the dark?) Jews such as myself can see the future, and your's looks bleak.

| Are you talking to me? I lost you in your drunken rambling. I didn't know my biggest fish was 39". I did eclipse the 40" mark last year. That is more than I can say for you (dink master). How do you figure a June wedding is going to interfere with my fishing? I will be in Minocqua the first week of June. I get married on June 29th, and I will be deep sea fishing on July 1st. It may not be Muskie, but it will still be a lot of fun.
While you are sitting at your desk sending out "emails" (read porn), I will be landing a blue marlin. Then when I get back from the tropics, I will have 4 days before I have to go back to work. Guess where I will be? You guessed it, fishing in the North woods!
Maybe I will start fishing for Bass. I wouldn't mind catching a couple of 5 - 8 pound bass. Oh wait, I am going to be in Texas at the end of April for volleyball nationals. I think I will bring my equipment along, and catch some huge spawning bass. Don't worry, I'll send you some pictures.
The way I see it, you are the one with bad planning. Maybe you should have gotten married in the summer so you could fish more.
And, if you ever catch a fish over 39" in the U.S., then you can come and talk to me. In fact, I shouldn't even count your 39 incher. It was so skinny you could see its bones.

NOW THAT IS ONE FAT FISH YOU GOT THERE IN THAT PICTURE!!! Looks like she just dined on a meal of duck, beaver, sucker and muskrat....had to be 6 months back that she ate this though. Hey man, just keep finding reasons not to fish....the chances that your boat gets wet before August are looking slimmer and slimmer. I'd avoid Minocqua though, I got a whole bunch of nice 26"ers there on my Spring Spearing Run.....you'd think they'd fight harder with a spear through the noggin. Just call me whenever you can fish, when the leaves start to turn, I'll be ready for that call. (Have to be honest here, jealous of the volleyball: saw the doc about the shoulder, he said "MRI, physical therapy, no lifting"....I said "no $$$, no time, will take Advil"...ie no volleyball)

Shows the basic difference in religious upbringing between the Roche and the Golden familites that you would imply that there is something called enough free stuff. Your family probably saw recieving excess or un-needed goods as wasteful or greedy.....whereas people of my religious/cultural background tend to see it as planning for future financial possibilities. In the future I will attempt to not offer assistance or advice in how to handle the possibitly of gaining goods or services without charge or at a lower rate. For example, next time you shatter a $180 Lamiglas fishing rod, and then say that you are going to throw it away and purchase a rod of a different make, instead of suggesting that you ship the rod to Lamiglas so that they can replace it free of charge as I did last year.....I will wait til you throw it away, and I will return it myself. 2:30AM Saturday is the compromise. Be late and I might not be able to urinate all the way OUT of the boat, and you did already wax the boat, I'd hate to mess up your hard work.
