Gotta say he was actually LUCKY he was pulling a boat of that size...otherwise, he'd have the Lord God Almighty as his shipmate.

Remember that one well John....the pic. was taken last March at Cave Run...wonder what made the bed cover raise up? Fortunately the truck was a 4 wheel drive + once the trailer was unhooked he was able to drive back up the rock cliff to the road.[;)] [:sun:]

Yes and no... It was probably the size of boat that caused him to lose control. Here's the million dollar question: What do you suppose the tongue weight rating is on that hitch? [:bigsmile:]

I would definitely agree that the boat had something to do with losing control, but as you look at the picture, the boat trailer grounded out...which was a good thing here. Think if he lost control with a smaller rig that weighed less than the truck... (Just by the size of the boat, I would think the boat might weigh more than the truck or at least close to it.)
