Anyone currently buy a 2 part epoxy in bulk? 1-2 gallon is what I am looking for. Found a lot of epoxy blands for marine use but, wanted to know if anyone has a favorite vendor/product. Sick of paying $20/32oz at Home Depot. Great stuff but cost too much.

Creative-wholesale.com
Envirotex lite...$57 a gallon.
Last January it was $37 a gallon in July it went up to almost $50
Jan-$57
Petroleum based gold.
Look into EX 78 or whatever it is. It has ultra-violet filtering qualities, and is $100 for 2 gallons.
Is that what you are looking for, or epoxy for an adhesive?

Looking for a clear coat. I like the epoxy I am using right now. I have hit my baits with a hammer and they stand up very well with the current epoxy. I used the Envirotex lite a few times but like my current epoxy a little better. Both were/are good though.

Thanks again for the hits! I may look into the EX 78 a little further. Also trying to set up a much much faster way to coat the epoxy on my large baits. May build something that my baits just fit into with some removable brushes at the top. I can dip them then and the excess will brush off. Woudl be quick if I could get it to work. Right now I use an extra large pan and fill it and then brush off the excess. Works but that takes me about 4 minutes per application. Multiple coats and 20-40 baits at a time adds up.

PS-Beaver, just foudn the EX-74. Looks like a winner. I may call tomorrow and ask some tech. questions on that one. 2 gallons woudl do about 200-250 baits for me. My baits take up a lot of epoxy!

It sure does..........and thus the reason we have to charge for custom lures.
