| I have a 2005 Smokercraft Millentia (sp), before that I had a couple Sylvans which are from the same company. Been pleased as punch. |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | I have had a Smokercraft Millentia 171 since 2001. The boat has held up well, but is currently in need of getting the carpet replaced due to wear and tear. I like it except for one thing. It could be a bit lower to the water. Reason: The wind catched it way too much and often times you will drift too fast even with a drift sock out. It also doesn’t drift in a straight line like you would think. Kind of drifts cutting across wind (If wind is at your back it will drift slightly in the direction the bow is facing).
The boat is very roomy for storing a ton of tackle.

Location: New London, Wisconsin | I recently sold my Smokercraft but only because my family and I out grew it. I loved that boat ('95 161 Pro Mag) and I would recommend them to anyone. Never had a problem to speak of.
Good Luck!

| Everyone I know that owns a Smoker Craft is pleased as punch with them. Everyone says any warrany work was done immediately. The only bad thing I have heard is the Oregon Factory was taking used boats returned to them for defects, shining them up, changing the Hull ID Number, and reselling them as new boats.
They signed a contract with the Oregon Attorney Generals office to stop the practice and to make a settlement offer with people who bought used boats sold as new.
I tried to buy a new Alaska model, but the price went up $180 between the time I looked at it and went back to buy it. Not new inventory, same boat I looked at and received a price on earlier, may be a dealer problem, not manufacturer. |
