Other spring destinations?

Subject: Other spring destinations?


This warm weather is driving me NUTS! Looking to get out in the next few months before the usual northern openers happen. Other than the usual destinations (Cave Run, Indiana, etc.) where are some other places to chase some skies?

Green River Lake and Buckhorn Lake in KY
Melton Hill in Tennessee
Lake Kincaid in southern Illinois

Location: Wausau		Kinkaid is a good option.
About 10 hours from Central WI.

The buckeye state offers good year round fishing during a typical year. March can be an excellent month with Clear Fork, Leesville, Piedmont, and Ceasar Creek all being good springtime options.
