Depends on where I work I guess....could be looking to meet some Indiana guys and learn some Indiana water or I could be looking at no muskies for the summer, but fishing in the most amazing area of the planet ALASKA!!!! Hopefully I can land the DNR job out there....I could handle a 70 lb salmon and hold off on ski's till fall when I return to school! I also hope to make an outing or two at least the PI outing!

Well I will be spending the usual time here in northern Wisconsin, but will be attending the MuskieFirst outing to Wabigoon, very much looking forward to that. Will also be planning on attending the June outing in Rhinelander and the PI outing in October. But I will be hopefully spending a few days pre-fishing walleyes with some of my friends on the PWT, while also covering the events for WalleyeFirst.

Good luck to you all in 07'!

Outside WI: would love to hit LOTW again, maybe a trip to see GregM in MN, but that would be it for travelling to fish

In WI: a river system I've been inroduced to, Fox River, Green Bay, and an overall attitude to fish clear water w/rocks

If you make it up to Nestor Falls, give me a shout. I'll try to fill you in on patterns, etc. Maybe wet a line. Certainly a refreshment at Green's. When the time gets closer give a shout out and I'll drop you my phone number in Nestor Falls. Happy New Year!

Isn't paternity leave for woman?

check your Latin roots, PK...

maternity refers to motherhood
paternity refers to fatherhood

and thanks to the Federal law known as the Family Medical Leave Act, everyone is entitled to up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave for the care of a sick family member or a newborn child. most people don't take it because going without pay for that long is too difficult.
i'm lucky enough to work for the state of WI who allows up to 6 weeks of that time to be taken as paid leave - assuming that you have enough sick time to use to cover the days (which i do).

Possibly Heading to the Cave this March.

Just Hanging around home and fishing the Pelican lake to Three Lakes area until the end of July. Then its off to Uncle Frank's on LOTW.

Nothing planned for sure after that, but I sure would like to head over to MN to fish with Troyz for at least a long weekend.

Oh yeah....PI is in the mix in the fall as well!

Definitely fishing:

Pewaukee Classic: May 12
Eagle: August 5-12
PI Outing: Late October
How could I forget? I'm also fishing in the Rhinelander area with Mr Worrall, complete with a night at the hideout and what I hear is one of the best meals I'll ever eat!

Places I'm probably fishing on multiple occasions:

Yahara Chain
Presque Isle
Fox Chain
Webster/Barbee/Tippecanoe

Places I might fish:

Cave Run
Namekagon
LOTW

Places I SHOULD fish since they're in my own state:

Shabbona
Evergreen
Kincaid
Shelbyville

SE Wisconsin with whomever will have me. I found a little secret spot I think I can get on, Lake N.
Somewhere with Slamr in the spring I hope.
Bytor said he might take me for a day or two in Madison.
P.I. in the fall-more fishing, less socializing.

If anyone wants to take pity on me for anywhere else, I humbly except barring family responsibilities.

Wish list:

Rhinelander Outing
Eagle, LOTW, or the Wabigoon outing. I hope to get in touch with my inner Precambrian for a week or so.

Thanks to global warming fishing IN, IL, and KY the next few months. Then back to MN, WI, and Canada. I'll try to hit our FRV club outings to Shelbyville, Webster, Vilas County, and Green Bay, as well as a trip to the Cave late March. MN, WI, and Canada trips will depend on work but for sure Dryberry, Georgian Bay, The Ottawa River, and The St. Lawrence River.

My weekend flings as a wild teenager are over, every weekend I was up north, now, I only get so many trips per year, so I choose to fish home waters instead, which, I can't complain about at all.
I would like to revisit Sabaskong again, had a blast there last year,
maybe a few weekends in the boulder area lake hopping with some buddies,
My quest for that fat Beeotch In Green Bay continues.........................

I am really a spontaneous fisherman, planning things out has only left me empty-handed sometimes. I like to make in the truck decisions with the boat hooked up! Whatever way the smoke blows.

Hi all,

I'm fishing all over this year.

1. Kentucky (Cave Run) early march

2. Illinios ( FRV tourney on the Fox Chain April 21 and Spring lake)

3. Wisconsin ( Dairyland by Ladysmith in June )

4 Canada ( Dryberry and LOTW July thru October)

I also would love to get up by Mr. Sworrall and see his neck of the woods. My folks are from Ladysmith and I've always fished on that side of the state.

I'll be stuck on the Big O for another 100+ days this year.

As for trvelling I'm not sure, I definatly want to hit lake X for a trip or two.

Still trying to convince the better half for our new mid summer holiday to be near muskie waters. So far it looks like Gaspesie which I believe the St-Lawrence muskies don't get that close to the ocean.

I guess I can't complain if I'm stuck fioshing the Larry and Big O all year.
