Just got back from LOW early sunday morning. We did pretty good it was me and three Bobs. We got ten fish for the group, I was fortunate and unfortunate, I got a 48" and three under 30 inches and probally lost the largest fish I have ever had on in 27 years of musky fishing estmated to between 54 and 56 inches. The Bobs did pretty good with two 51 inchers weights were probally in the 30 to 34 lb range (the Bob really deserve his fifty one inch release after a very tough year last year). The fish were active on tallywackers and spinnerbaits, which meant weeds, weeds and weeds. Water temp. 74 to 78 degrees. I would have to say that for your best chance at a 30 lber. Low is the place to be.

Got back from NW angle Saturday night. Had a good week, weather was good with only one rainy day. My partner and I caught 14 and saw 87. I managed a 50.5", 46", 44",43",42", 38" and a couple smaller ones. Fish were mainly in the rock and a combination of rock and weeds. Bucktails with a fast retreive worked well as did jerking and twitching a Slammer and jerk baits. Had some action top side but didn't really seem to be going hot yet. The algae was minimal except in quiet bays.
