Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | What are some of your goals for this comming 2007 fishing season?
I am looking for a new personal best muskie but that will never come true unless I get back into trophy waters again out East.(57 x 27).
My goal for the boat is to get myself, family, friends and clients 150 muskies this season.(138 last year-77 were mine) This is tough because I work full time and 1/2 the Saturdays at my full time job.
Getting my wife back into muskie fishing.
Spending more time with my kids on the water and in the woods.
Getting more people hooked on muskie fishing, kids expecially!!!
Meeting more people from the muskie boards in person at shows or outings.

2) Clean and weatherproof my deck on my house up north
3) Guide my god-daughter to her first Perch.
4) Run suckers as early and as late as humanly possible
5) Quit Gander Mountain
6) Ride my bike as mush as possible |

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I have very few #'s goals or size goals for 2007, although big muskies and lots of them are always more than welcome.
I would like to continue the trend in my boat of more and more people each year catching their first and/or biggest muskies.
I am really going to try to relax more on the water and try not to get so worked up over these stupid fish.
My number one goal is to make more time to fish with friends this coming year. |

Location: Albertville, Minnesota | Exactly what Norm said, not get so worked up with these fish or fishing for them. Thought I had it figured out, but got my but kicked last season and almost lost it. No one wants to hear about raising them or having them hit....
Another goal is to try and not lose or break something...whether a lure, my guide series bibs, boat radio, cup holder, seat strap, anchor, lowarnce cover, skag, Twins hat, etc...each outing.

Location: Palm Coast, FL | My goal for '06 was 150 skis for myself and 300 for my boat. Falling short of that goal (106 personally with 15 in the past week and still counting/70 fish for clients/friends) I am still going to shoot for it next year.
Meet people from M1st at the shows.
Possibly get some plans to build a log home on my lake lot.
Become Muskies Inc. ALD.
Maybe start a family. |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | Well We hit every goal Michelle and I set for 2006. 103 for her and 123 for me 226 fish combined. We both broke 52 inches on the same day. I dont have much to wish for in 2007. I have decided that I would like to fish some bigger water looking for A super Tanker but I dont want to get crazy over it. I would like to fish for Brookies, perch and Gills more often this coming year as I like eating them yum. One big goal is to get this house finished so Michelle stops pointing things out like( hey when you gonna finish that trim)? I guess really as far as Muskies go I would like to someday break 52 inches but it doesnt have to happen in 2007. Kingfisher |

Restructure Muskies, Inc. to make the goals of Youth, Fisheries and Research more easily obtained. Enjoy every muskie I boat! |

| I just wanna fish
If I can sit here a year from now and say I fished as much and with as many people as I did this past year, that's all I can ask for.
I could give a $^%& less about how many fish or how big they are, I just like fishin'!
Not to say I ain't gonna be skippin' down the street if I get a 50 or have a 5 fish day, but that's not what its about.

Location: The desert | Get a great job with some state DNR (Indiana sounded promising, still hoping for Alaska)
Meet more guys from this site and fish with as many of them as possible.
Get Becky her first musky.
Catch a couple of fish, I'll toss out the number 10 again as I was one short this season, but I also caught 2 PB this past season so I cant really complain.
Beat my PB again (47") |

Location: Contrarian Island | this year I think I met just about all my goals for 06, except I didn't get a WI 48"..did get some very nice 45 to 47"s though...
this year will be hard to beat...well over 100 fish in my boat with a 40" avg, new PB, got alot of guys on alot of very nice fish...
For 07, I'd like to add a few new bodies of water in Vilas/Iron to the list I know fairly well...
Another day with SWorrall so he can show me what a Rhinelander musky looks like ...
Of course I'd like to beat my PB...more time in MN might make that happen...
The elusive Madison Chain 50"+ would be awesome...
Getting more people on their first or biggest would be great...
basically just have fun, get fish in the net, try not to get hurt or fall out of the boat trying and drink lots of celebratory beers!!
07 should be a good one....

| Roadtrip 'round The Windy up thru WI, stop by to drop off Sue's Mushroom Stick, then west and cross at the Twin Cities, party with EssoxLady at Mill Lacs, then northwest to Detroit Lakes to late night star-spangled dance with Pappa Joe and Mikie at the 10,000 Lakes Music Fesitval. Then like 700 miles straight home; 'round the Windy as I see the sun come up across the Big Lake. Check out the serious bikers who always seem to be stopped near the toll booth at the break of day, and that extra stick of Wrigley's Rainbow Brain Gobbler sure did come in handy on this run, isn't it? Admire the shape and glow of the toll booth lady's skull as I grin my way along at dawn. I always get home, sooner or later. Lessons learned every time. That would be a cool 2007 run. |

| My goals for 2007 are as follows
1)No more tournaments (they take all of the fun out of it for me anyways)
2)Try to make it to at least 1 Muskiefirst outing (they sound like a blast)
3)Try to get out with more people from the Muskiefirst board I have a boat if you have the time.
4)Try to fish smarter and try to learn different types of fishing maybe a little more of the deep clear stuff.
5)Catch my first 50 I have been close but not close enough.
6)Try to use my cabin in Minocqua it is a rental and we rarely get to use it in the Summer months and the fall gets so busy. |

| Pretty basic for me...I just need to get on the water more often this coming year!! 2006 was a bad year with regards to time on the water. When I put my boat away this past fall, it really hit me how little I got to use it
Bring on 07...... |

Location: minocqua, wi. | willy's dating budget has been dramatically cut ... he learned that it's just not worth it, so we'll be spending much more time on the water in '07 similar to '05. i'll be doing a regular date on the water monday's with my kids, tuesday nights will be the rhinelander musky league and the rest of the time here and working in the cities with the boat will be in tow and on the water in the evenings. my goals don't include fish because i think they come right along with quality time on the water, but dialing in icons for boat control work on the primary waters where i like to fish will be important to me next year. i'll keep my eagle trip alive and hope to duplicate the good times i've had the past two trips there and i'm getting back to fishing with the original guys i learned from and regain the reasons why i love being out there. another qualifying run for the WMT final (and be able to fish it without being out of town) is a goal as well. beyond that stopping in at the 1st site to watch the banter and silliness that goes along with all of it.
the primary Goal though is to get all 4 of my kids over 40" in '07 ...

| Get back to the basics and pay more attention to detail. 2006 was a grind for me. I got sloppy in the boat and lost focus. I didn't have the success I usually do in the early part of the season and it carried over into the remainder of the season. This year my goals are:
better casting
better boat control
retie more often
keep a PMA when things are going bad
figure 8 50% of the time (I am horrible with this and 100% isn't realistic)
Have fun
fish better water
If I reach my goals more and bigger fish will find there way to my boat.

| My boat is beyond repair, and I won't be able to get a different one until 2008. Long story. I won't get many opportunities in 2007, so I'm going large. My goal is a 50 incher. I'll be sticking with larger baits all year, and hopefully I'll have some success. |
