I'm going to pick up an 8'-6" rod...right now I'm running a 7'6" M/H FigRig.

Does experience suggest a certain weight? I like my M/H action at 7-6....

Thoughts?

3 rods are all you need to cover you arsenal of baits

8'6" Blank from Professional Edge Excellent buctail, spinnerbaits, topwater, med dawg rods.

7'6" to 8' XHeavy- Cranks, Dawgs, pull baits.

6'10" JB(jerkbait blank)-glider, jerkbaits, walk the dawg topwater

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana		I only use one rod...8'6 Professional Edge Diamondback.

Use it for every bait, every cast. No real reason to have a bunch of different rods.

Get two of these puppies and you'll be set up.

Go 8'6" Diamondback Extra Heavy or whatever length you prefer. It can throw anything with ease
