Ok, so I want to waste a bunch of money real soon here. Which one is better? The Calcutta 400b or the Diawa luna? I know both are great reels but which one do you guys prefer and why?

thanks

Luna. It's way smoother and it has more metal components then the CalcuttaB.

I really like the luna, and have had no problems with it.

You might be able to get a calcutta te fairly reasonable on ebay. Look up reelsextreme. I believe he is asking $295 plus shipping or best offer...he does come down on price.

Neither. For the price of one TE, I could pick up the hottest reel of 2007, a 7000ihsn AND a new St. Croix Premier. Talk about an awesome combination! Kdawg

The Luna replaces the milionairre line. My cvz gave me nothing but heartache with anti-reverse problems. Daiwa's service manager, Sergio, was real good about it since they had it in 2x for repair....going to send me a Luna....

Any problems with the Lunas so far?
