Our friends at E-cell are pleased to sponsor MuskieFIRST's newest Scavenger Hunt, the Holiday Brain Scrambler. The winner will receive a set of E-cell Rechargeable AA Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Charger, featuring power cells that are the most advanced available today. E-cell, Power Your Passion! Also, a MuskieFIRST coffee mug.

Here are the rules for this one:

You are looking for a phrase on one of the OutdoorsFIRST Websites. It could be here, on WalleyeFIRST, or on IcefishingFIRST. The Riddler, aptly named by Shep himself, will provide clues to which you will respond ONE post per person per clue until someone nails it, then another clue will be provided. The answer to any one clue might be a single word, idea, or concept, and may NOT be ANYWHERE on any OutdoorsFIRST site. All the answers together will lead you to the Prize.

Even on the biggest lakes that have been on the ticket for many years, there are community spots, and one can always use that as justification.

Theedz is correct so where is the Riddler pointing, a ticket and an officer are just a little a bit disjointing. What the Riddler is searching for with this reference to Theedz is more of a state of mind, you should guess it with ease!

You went with one and right you were, now let's figure out what the Hagers have to do with Wisconsin and the answer to the E-cell hunt....... here's your next clue, kick it, don't punt:

The Hagers fish muskies every almost every year, they used to fish them with Dick Rose in Vilas when Dick was still here; what could the Hagers have to do with this all, just find me a link, and make the right call!

Hey sworrall, didn't you guide one of the Hager twins from Hee Haw? I remember that you and SteveQ each had one in your boat on the Eagle River Chain in the late 80s and one of them caught a 36"er, but can't remember which. I'm betting it was the one with SteveQ, lol. - Gerard

Yes I did, and yes we caught a fish. Don't remember how big, but it was a legal. You are dating yourself sir, and Gerard wasn't onto anything more now than there!

I'll give you another clue, were looking for an association; it won't be anything on any O.F. Website or location.

Scott Fairbairn at Bismarck
In the sport of professional walleye fishing in 2006, Scott Fairbairn of Hager City, WI stands alone at the top of the heap.

Fairbairn was one of eight anglers to compete in all three pro-level circuits in 2006; the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Tour Regional Division, the PWT Super Pro Division, and FLW Walleye Tour. The Ironman competition pits those eight anglers against each other in a points race of all points races, an all out competition of walleye-fishing endurance consisting of travel, scheduling, time on the water and ultimately, performance across every single tournament that pro walleye fishing has to offer.

That's correct, the reference to Theedz was to identify Wisconsin as the general location.

All the clues are like a pathway to the final answer. How did you get to Hager? And before that, Wisconsin? Hager Wisconsin, right? Then a whole site search ( which Muskyboy obviously did) turned up the winning post, which was from a press release done by OutdoorsFIRST. It was a good guess, hit it dead on the nose.

End of story.

Use the search function on all the OF websites entering keywords. The next one will be tougher...

Mr. Worrall, the one clue I don't pay attention to, it's actually the one I knew without even looking it up! All I can say is you are good Mr.Worrall.
