I know many of you fish Lake Vermillion Mn. What I am looking for is lodging/cabin rental for 6-8 guys for the week of Sep 8-15. We are looking to fish the eastern half of the lake. I also want to consider some of the non "resort" rentals as well if anyone can post some recommendations. Boat rentals not needed and we do our own cooking.
Thanks,
Karl

LC,
Ive already glanced through that site but wanted to get some opinions rather than pickinig one from a site with nice pretty pictures. Especially the independent ones. There arer quite a few to choose from so I'd prefer recommendations and warnings prior to booking.

Karloutdoors,

I would highly recommend Retreat Lodge on vermilly. John and Shaun are great hosts and have a nice quiet family oriented resort, with clean cabins.

Todd M. picked a really good place for you'r group to stay, and the BIG GIRLS arn't far from that spot as well, Also Retreat Lodge is a fine place and is more centrally located, which means you could fish the East or West end with no problems.

Bayview Lodge is on the east end and has a few big cabins and a great bar and really good food.
You picked a good time to fish Vermillion, have fun.......

Definitely hit bayview lodge on monday nights for their buck burgers. They do hire some hottie waitresses too. Thursday goto the casino for the italian buffet. I love their lasagna. Hey, I seen Musky Tom there eating it, so it must be good!
