| I know the cowgirls are marketed as having colorados, but when I was at R/H's I pulled one off the shelf and went back by the blade selection. They are actually #10 indianas. Rollie and Helen's sells them for $1.79 a pop. Is there anyplace I can pick some up cheaper? Stamina doesn't carry them from what I saw in my most recent catalog. |

Try Dick Moore. Not sure how much better the prices will be. Now you know why lures like the double Cowgirl cost so much. At first I thought these guys were charging a little much....lol.....I soon found out they don't make much.
I am having my own die made to punch these out so I can get them for $.40/unit at 0.040 thickness. If it goes well I will have #10 Indiana plus some others made in teh large sizes with extra thickness. Won't happen for at least 3-4 months but will post back if/when I have extra blades to offer.
Here is Dick's number and website. He is the man! I see he only has up to #9 but, email him to see if he has #10. He may.

Did he have the #10s on hand? Didn't see them in his pdf catalog. He always has more than he has in his catalog though. Always good to call him if you don't see it. Would love to see this guys basement! Bet his wife would like to see her basement again too! lol
My wife has confined all my "junk" to one room. I have three small businesses running out of it and it is full full full.

$703.70 for 1000 #10 0.040" Indiana nickel blades. They sell smaller amounts for an additional charge of $1.00 per order, i.e. $71.37 for 100 blades.

Been up to Dick's a couple times to pick up some stuff. Take my word for it, his basement is awesome! He has everything down there including four stations to tie hair on coils, jigs etc. His wife even had her own station where she tied up jigs and coils. Really nice people who took the time to let me pick out what I needed and talk muskies.

I have only talked to the guy a few times but as you can see from many posts here....He made an impression on me. Not too many people go out of their way to help someone they just met. Dick is one of those guys. Wish my wife liked to make Grunts with me. Muskie lures that is We already have two of the other kind.

I hear ya on that. I have an old musky video that was filmed in 1987 in Wisconsin that has a guy named Dick Moore in it. Kinda wonder if it is the same Dick Moore we are talking about. Next time I order I think I will ask.
