| Has anyone found a good way to tie tinsel? I'd like to break into making some tinsel baits this winter but have found the flashabou to be somewhat unmanageable.
Any advice would be apprecieated.
I've thought of ordering rubber collers and a collor stretcher for the job, but would like some input first.

Location: Freedom, WI | A lttle tip if it has to much static, spray it with static gaurd (for fabric) and it helps. |

| cut a batch of tinsel, lay it over your thread. Now place the coil in the middle and tie an overhand not with the thread. This will hold it in place. Now wrap the thread around the tinsel to secure it good. Finish off with super glue on the threads. |

I wound up using rubber collars and skirt bodies.
Here's a pic of what I managed to scrap together....
