I am intersted to know how many guys add split rings to their lures to improve the action. I have been doing this with my Bulldawgs and dive & Rise baits ... but is it as effective to add splitrings to crankbiats like Grandmas and Jakes as well?

Thanks for your input.

I add split rings to all of my lures because I don't use snaps.
I even have splitrings on my bucktails. I make my own, so it's an easy step to add them before the final twist.

Thanks Beaver,
But please tell me, what exactly precedes your lures? A ball-bearing leader with a lopp/split ring at the end?

Thanks,
Craig
