Location: WI | I'll be in the woods in Plover, WI. Muskies will have to wait a weekend as family traditions prevail.
Sloan, love the pictures......around WI we brag about that size of a deer (whitetails) and let the head hang out, in Montana I guess you just "pile it in"! Good stuff!

I'll be hunting for a Packer victory over the Patriots on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Favre's got Brady in his sights.

I caught one Saturday and I'm still excited.

| Why not both? Float a little remote pothole surrounded by state-owned land, fish and hunt at the same time! |

Location: Eau Claire, WI | I don't have private land to hunt and gun season in the county forests has gotten a bit crazy for my liking.
I'm going to hunt, but more than likely not for deer. Here's a few from this past weekend.

Location: WESTERN WI | I used to be obsessed with Deer hunting many weeks before the actual season. All that is gone now as Deer hunting is a means to fill the freezer as oppose to a trophy hunt as I once perceived it. Thank the Muskellunge for that one. I hope to shoot a deer opening morning, then listen to Michigan & Ohio State while fishing for the rest of the day. BARELY TWO & HALF WEEKS LEFT OF THE SEASON IN WISCONSIN!!! SCARY!!!

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | BOTH!!!
I have been on vacation for two weeks and hunt in the morning till 11am and then drop the boat in for some afternoon muskie action.
Reality has now set in and work replaces fishing and hunting this week.
Well not for long. I have the whole deer hunting season off and plan to take my kids hunting this weekend and then come back and put the smackdown on the Pewaukee lake muskies for the rest of the season. |
