Location: Muskegon Michigan | My wife would have said quote( well honey we will have to fish the quiet side of the lake and we are using the the big boat!!) I have a wife with a different perspective. She is the 2006 Muskies inc womens division champion. We started fishing this year in January and will stop December 31st. She has 103 muskies to date in 2006 and has stood besides me in 7 foot waves and horizontal Hail. Snow storms ,Breaking ice , and Rain that had us running twin bilge pumps. I am proud of her. She is one in a million.Meet Michelle King. Kingfisher

| It makes me feel better knowing that fishing in this kind of weather is'nt gender based. |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | We run from the weather when we can. We fished in southern Indiana in January 2006 and the temps were 70 degrees. one day later in northern Indiana they were 36 with freezing rain.My wife was on a mission to break every womens record in Muskies inc. She has broken all of them but one. That record is biggest fish by a woman and Linda Rices 57 incher will be very hard for any Gal to top. Next year we will take on that record by fishing the St Lawrence river and Georgian Bay. big water looking for a 57.5" piggy. Kingfisher |

Location: Fishing the weeds | You said it, One in a Million! My wife fished with me last week in Minnesota. Some mornings it was in the single digits. She never complained. I hope your wife gets the record. Mine has no such aspirations but, loves to fish none the less. Pat |

| My fiance just introduced me to Muskie fishing this year and I can't get enough. I have already told him - I want out honeymoon in Canada going after the big ones Now I just have to convince him sooner than later is better LOL I am also bow hunting for the first time this year - enjoying that as well - just doesn't quite compare to muskie fishing in my mind....yet... have to see how it goes after my first big buck. Going gun hunting with him and his family this weekend - can't wait |
