This browser allows for extensions and add ons like Forecastfox, FirefoxFTP, and lots more. It's fast, easy to configure, and allows for tabbed browsing so you can have several websites open at one time.

The best part of this new version is the spell check. It's automatic no matter what you're typing, including posts on internet message boards. If a word is spelled incorrectly, it's underlined with a little red dotted line. Right click on it, and suggestions for the correct word and spelling are right there.

I really like this browser.

Magruter, you were right, the Spell Check is cool.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up on the new version. The spell check rocks.

I've been using this browser since it's beginning on my linux boxes and for the last couple years on the windows boxes and removed all icons for internet exploder. This is an awesome browser and I can't imagine ever going back to IE. Some websites still require IE but that number is dwindling as firefox has become very popular. If you must view a website using IE there is a plugin for Firefox called "IE Tab" that makes it possible to run a tab using IE's rendering engine right in Firefox. IE is inherently insecure and the target of too many viruses/worms to name. You'd be doing yourself a big favor by switching to Firefox IMHO. There are many useful plugins and themes/skins available too. The tabbed browsing is a must for me also. This browser r0x!

There shouldn't be any format to get used to. You set your homer page, and that's it, except for the extensions and add ons. yes, I think it's faster, it allows for easy tabbed browsing, and has an auto popup and spam blocker, too.

iespell plugin or the spell checker in the google toolbar are options for Internet Exploder if you still want to run it. I use IE, Mozilla, and FireFox but haven't checked out FF2 yet.

FF2 downloads and overwrites the older version. It should now update almost all the themes and extensions you had. Spell check is automatic in the text box as I type. Spelled it all right this time!
