| There is not much info out there on this boat yet, other than the stray dealer here and there that has test driven one. I asked a Ranger Dealer friend of mine two months ago about the model and he had never heard of it, but I'm sure this coming spring a few will hit the water and the reports will roll in. Your best bet would be to call a Ranger deal and get a quote, then please report back here what you find. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I saw the 1760 Angler at Bismarck when we were covering the PWT Championship. With a 115, that boat was at $30,000. I'd guess that when all is done rigging and delivering an 1860 and GPS, Sonars, etc are installed and tax paid, upper thirties. I saw somewhere that the boat, motor and trailer would be 36K base, but who knows until a real quote surfaces. Call Frankies in Chisago City, MN. |

| EsoxD, I would think it would handle bigger water great...at 18'6" and 98 wide it isn't a little or light boat...wish they had made it a bit narrower as 98 and 102 on the trailer sure is wide! but they used an existing hull and it is not a new hull..it is the Reatta hull with just a diffferent deck...I had talked to Mike at Frankies about them when they came out...I think it was about 35k all rigged up with all the toys and 175 suzuki...
Call Mike at Frankies and I would bet he gives you the best price anywhere... |

| I bought an 1850 Reatta this year and have compared it to the Angler.....for the same money, I think the Reatta is a better boat. I've fished it on Leech, Mille Lacs, etc. and haven't had any problems. I'm sure the Angler is a fine boat, but do take the time to compare it to the Reatta, as there are subtle differences in the layout.
Just my two cents.... |
