Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Yes folks, it's true, ROB CAUGHT A FISH!
And not just one, but two! After a fishless season so far (new boat curse), The earth has shifted and the curse is lifted! Thanx to: Big Mo for the free suckers, Shane West for the awesome 10" Timberwolf glider, Seagram's Canadian Hunter for the "victory dance", Dr.Mike for the day and the net job, and, most importantly to my beautiful Wife, Lolleitta, for letting me sneak off to fish. The pic where my eyes are closed, is a funny story. He twisted out of my hands and he slapped me in the face with his tail. I got slimed up in the beard pretty good from that one!

Location: Brookfield, WI | Good for you, Rob. A nice warm up for P.I. I think every musky caught should get to slap the person that caught it. One quick slap like a girl you offend in a bar. Seems fair enough.

It's gonna be alot easier going up, now that I wont have a shut out for the season.
After a Shnort of Whiskey after the release, thre 3 diet dews I drank on the way home, the 2 beers I've had since being home, and a Whiskey Sour, I can still taste that slime! Taste of success!
Thanx folks!

it's not the size of the fish in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the fish!

Location: Appleton, WI | The only reason Rob had to "sneak" off to fish, is that we are having a birthday party for three year olds here today. So, yes, I got stuck with the cleaning and much of the prep work yesterday, but that is OKAY! Rob broke our curse! Another reason to party...lol.
Congrats, honey! |

I was begining to wonder if giving up all other fishing and bow hunting was worth it. LOOOOOOONNNNGGG season to be fishless, until now. I'm gonna feel like the kid on his last day of summer camp when I gotta winterize the Merc. Pressure is off now, and I can go into the outing un-stressed.
Hope you all have a great late season!

| Nice, Rob. The new boat curse is frustrating, isn't it? Always important to have great friends to help you remove that curse. Congrats. See you Thursday night. |

Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | It took me two and a half years to break the curse of the last one, so i was happy to do it in the same season. Problem was, i couldn't catch one in K-bob's or Dr. mike's boat either. Things have changed. My life is better. Financial stuff is being delt with, Love the new job (sucks that i am away from Lori as much as i am), Lori and i are stronger than ever as a couple ( thank you Lori and Jesus), and Priapisim got slimed twice. The planets are now in line, and the sun has shined on this dog's hinder while taking a dump in the neighbor's yard. Life is good, Life with a wife who musky fishes and hunts deer ROX! |
