Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Anyone out there been using the Abu Garcia records? Pros/cons, How do they hold up for big baits/small baits? What version do you guys have? I have been looking at the RCN60 but i dont know if i should get the standard size or get the same reel with a higer capacity spool and power handle. Thanks for any info!

| Easy answer, go with the high capacity spool (RCN60hc) and power handle and use the reel how it's meant to be used, hard and fast. I love mine, but now I want two. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I have the RCN60. That was the main reel I used all season. Didn't have a problem with it at all. But didn't throw it with too many exceptionally large baits. Lots of topwater, gliders, bucktails, etc...so ya, reel worked great for me, but did hear of a few problems guys were having with them. Couldn't tell you what it was because the few I do know of just ended up back at the store and was replaced. Hear lots of good things about the Luna! |

| ToddM, What gears stripped? In repairing thousands of Abu reels I can count on one hand the number of 5.3 gears that I have seen stripped. |

| I'm the other guy Todd is talking about. My anti-reverse went out. No big baits not much use on it either. Color me bummed. I realy like it too. |
