Made a rear deck insert this year that allows me to have barn dances on it and has created a ton of semi-dry storage.

Has treated me really well but I could be parting with it at the end of the year.

Thanks Pikespawn! I haven't ridden in too many deep V boats this size, so I don't have too many points of reference. I owned an Alumicraft Lunker 16.5, then a Triton 189, and now this. Chadster likes the Ranger... The hull on this boat is awesome the way it cuts though waves. Very nice ride. I hope to have it for a long time...

I am running a 2006 Lund 1700 Explorer Sport with 115 Yamaha with a built out back deck.

My boat has an 75ap and all of bells and whistles.

Not as fancy as some of the Rangers and Tuffy's but it gets the job done.

Good luck to everyone this fall.

Great custom work Mark.

Im running a Ranger 1998 690, 175 Mariner, Yamaha T-8 Kicker, X-15 Bow, 334 Console, 101# 36 volt Minnkota. Sorry no pics. Looks very similiar to MSKY HNTR boat.

Thanks for the compliment, everyone that see's it thinks it's factory. It rides more smooth than my 690 did and fishes like a dream. Even in big water it's a smooth/dry ride if you drive it responsibly.

My previous rig was a 1996 690, I loved it. Once fuel prices hit $3 a gallon though I was going broke feeding the 175EFI that was on it. Wanted something more fuel efficient. I love that style interior layout but the factory version of the 618 wasn't going to cut it, so I spent some time looking at them and decided I could modify one to what I wanted, basically a modern day 690. The 618 looks small when you look at them, but put a tape measure to them and they are extremely close to the 690. Measure the carpeted "useable" space.

Musky fisherman have some really nice choices in fiberglass these days with the newer lineup from Tuffy and Ranger's new Angler series to compliment the rest of what they offer makes for a nice variety to choose from.
