Do you listen to the radio in the boat while muskie fishing? I mean, just enough to hear it. Just wondering if the extra noise might scare off the fish.

I listen to the xm in the boat quite a bit and never really notice a difference from when the radio is not along. Now me singing along with the radio may make a difference and it seems to make the coyotes howl a little more.

Not always. Sometimes I like the quiet.

But other times...I've got the tunes on in the boat and often times I don't even care about the volume. These fish don't care about the tunes in the boat.

99% of sound created above the water is reflected back by the surface of the water, so i don't think the fish are going to hear anything. However, you might want lay off the subwoofer a little bit

I usually take my MP3 player which has FM radio too, I have a set of Sony travel speakers that work pretty good too.

I like to listen to the Twins play. The Vikings,or Packers or any other NFL teams. I also listen to teaching tapes once in a while.

I really don't think the noise from the speakers matter to the fish much, but I have been taken advantage of by a few muskies because I wasn't paying attention to the lure like I should have.

I listen to music when I fish by myself, which is alot. Only get FM usually on the lake, usually only country. Never seen anything with the fish to indicate they were spooked by the music, electric, or anything else. When they want it - nothing else matters.

If only they wanted it more
