Buddies were picking up a few here and there. Just a forewarning. Muskies Inc. is holding a tournament out on the Fox/Lower Bay this weekend so expect quite a few boats out there.

A different report on M1st said 16 boats registered a total of 47 fish. Awesome.

Where is that report?

Glad we went over this past weekend. Our plan paid off. Most people stayed away due to the tourney and there were fewer people than I've seen all year so far. Looked like a well run tourney.

yeah, my buddy figured the same after I called him with the amount of entries. AT first I told him there were 84, he just about comes off his rocker, and then I say chill dude, theres only 16, So, whats he do, comes out there at 10am, as we have nothing in the boat cept a bunch of excuses of lost fish and finally whack a 36, he puts 9 in the boat in 7 hours! bittersweet or not, he wasnt in the tourney, he prolly would have won it! hehe

16/47 sounds more believable... The Fox is becoming an impressive musky fishery.

Fished the Fox the day of the tourney, but not in it, Saturday we couldn't put one in the boat, Sunday we ended up with a 49.5,48.5 and 3 more mid 30's and lost two more, all our action was from 9:30 to 2:00 pm the 48.5 I guess weighed 35 or so Lbs.

Jason I e-mailed you

talk to you soon

I had the chance to fish off of shore for an hour on Thursday, my friend caught a 40"er on a Walleye Crank while I was casting a depthraider right next to him! Exciting on 10 pound mono! Took some pics and let her go, beautiful fish! Has anyone else been doing anything? I will be out in the boat today, might try trolling for some skis!
