| Does anyone know anything about a private lake in Northwestern Illinois called Lake Carroll? My family recently bought some property over there and my dad just bought a fishing boat and has it all ready and registered. We are going to fish it on October 14th and 21st. The lake has no hot spots map or an equivalent. Any help on how and where to fish this lake for muskies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| I just bought land there this past May. I have only had a chaince to fish it twice and really only for panfish with my boys (only got to throw for musky for about 3 hours. The rest of the tim ethe family wants to tool around on the water. Slamr, Yes you have to be a property owner (but not a permanent resident) or a guest in order to fish it. They actually check. There are 2 marinas but i think only the main marina has ramps. Yes, there are musky in there. I think there can be a much better population though. The baitfish in there can support it with ease.
The place has its own hatchery/rearing ponds.
A nice golf course too. I was pleasantly suprised how fun the course was.
10" Woody, i could always use some help/info. |
