a nice thunderstorm just rolled through Portage...my first thought was "I gotta get on the water!"
i've never been accused of being prudent!

Man, what a deal. I just put the $86.99 per gallon sealer on my deck this morning with blue skies, and forecasted nice for days. Put Emma down for a nap and on my way out to finish up, and the hail was coming down. Pouring rain pretty much diluted my project Wish I had been fishing instead...

I waited all afternoon for that front guiding out on Boom. No front, and the muskies were quiet, moved one on a Violent Strike Willow Mag. It was 79 here today, obscene!

Just wait for today Mike, the front moving in is suppose to stronger than the one last night! They're talking large hail, heavy rain, and the potential for a tornado...

Had the same thought yesterday, so, called in sick and headed N. to Vilas Cty. All I got for my deceit was a good sunburn. All in all, a great trip, gorgeous colors and got to explore a new lake, but now I'm at work, explaining my lack of a sickly look...

Note to anglers:

If you call in sick to go fishing, even at this time of the year, ALWAYS wear lots of sunscreen!
