I recently hurt my wrist while working a glide bait and just figured it was no big deal and kept fishign through the pain. Now 2 months later it still bothers me and I can't even fish for more than an hour without it hurting. Have any of you experienced this? Any thing help?

Yes, setting the hook on a fish last year on Moen. My left wrist popped audibly, and it took almost a year to heal up, still twinges once in awhile. I got a wrist brace; any drug store or big box store will have them, get the black one with the thumb loop and velcro closure. Don't get the one with the big angled pad, it doesn't allow for holding the reel. I'd see a doctor too, just to be sure.

I had an audible "Pop" happen when I was in the army (15+ years ago). The Army docs said it was all in my head, but I couldn't flip/ pitch with my left hand for a year and a half (yes, I was a bass head back then). Follow Steve's advice, see a doc now. you can always schedule a procedure for after the season closes.

When you see your DR, ask them about something like Flex Protex. I had elbow and shoulder pain from yanking around Mag dawgs last year and that stuff helped out a lot. It's some kind of supplement that is supposed to help with ligaments and tendons and such. There are several forms of this kind of product out there.
