| I know that this isnt muskie related but I wanted to get some quick feed back from "regular guys" on the organization I just started. Here is my introduction letter to ALL the suppliers of American Manufacturers

Suppliers and Manufacturers for Fair Trade
Manufacturing is becoming a national security issue for America. Other countries are flooding our market with manufactured products that are sold for under the cost of materials alone. It is more than obvious that they are trying to eliminate their competition. Where would the United States be without the ability to manufacture. THINK ABOUT IT.
The SMFT is a non-for-profit organization that’s sole purpose is to lobby the government for FAIR TRADE! We believe that America’s strength comes from our ability to manufacture products. And we want to make sure that it stays that way. We are not opposed to competition. Competition is what makes us stronger. We are opposed to unfair trade. Manufacturing in the United States is going to countries that have no “minimum” wage, no dental or medical plans, no OSHA or EPA regulations, interest free loans, rent free buildings, government subsidies for machinery, no interest in human rights, etc…
If our government believes in “fair trade” then why do we have a 3.31 tariff on incoming products into the U.S. while china has a 17% value added tax + MFN rate of 12%. That is offset over 25%. That is not FAIR TRADE!
How can we get together FAST to make a difference? Suppliers are the key. SMFT is looking to suppliers to get the word out fast. If all the suppliers can join and educate their customers we can make a difference TOGETHER.
What are we asking from you? SMFT wants you to educate your employees and your customers. Encourage them to join our fight
