Saw this floating on the flowage this weekend and thought it was interesting. The island in the background is Big Banana, the east end.

Pretty wild driving out there right now, water 42 inches down and more mud bogs than I have ever seen popping up all over the place.

That is a very cool picture. I wonder how many other cribs will get moved around in the low water conditions you have there now.

The water level may have come up slightly with the rain we had over the weekend, but not much. That bog came up out of about 20 feet plus of water. With the low water you can see a hole in the south bridge support of the CC bridge. Never thought to take a picture of that though.

Pretty wild stuff out there right now.

Those are probably old bogs that sank years ago. The area that is pictured is marked for submerged bogs. What is causing them to float back up? I have heard that it is a flowage wide problem, is that true Muskymeyer? Must be pretty hazardous at night. When the water gets that low it is dangerous enough out there without more landmines floating up from the bottom.
The fish seem to like the low water as I have heard that the Chip is kicking out a lot of nice fish lately.
