I'm looking for opinions on this type of reel: drag, cold weather performance, overall reliability? Thanks, Duff

I bought 4 of these at the beginning of this year. They are the size 20, and they have been flawless. Use them trolling for skis and walleye. Have excellent drags and are smoother than the Daiwa's I had before. Couldn't tell you haw they perform in cold weather though.

I'm using Okuma Convector line counter reels (CV-20D) , and I've had very good luck with them. Very smooth drags, and seem to stand up well to hard LOTWs use late into the season. Highly recommend the Okuma stuff, seem to work well and a fair price. Haven't used the Catalina series, but I'm having good luck with Okuma reels.
