Ok I never posted a pic before, but I think this one will sum up the year for me. Caught this monster in July.

Did it hit in the figure eight? Whitewall radials are notorious followers.

Kevin

I'm still planning.

I'm really looking for a chance at a boot. Anyone have any suggestions where all the boots are biting?

If you must know, I was fishing trout stream outlets on the WI river system back when water temps were in the 80's. Never fished the area before and the water was extra skinny. Plus it was a little dark, so we were casting pretty blind. Sorry but I had to keep that one, so I'm disqualified from the contest. 18' deep in 18' water... Good one

Try the vacant lots in any big city. Boots, tennis shoes, parkas, shopping carts, they're all there. Even a trophy like an abandoned car can be had in the right spot. Successful patterns can vary greatly depending on the time of day. If you every want to try in the Milwaukee area, I would be happy to mark a map for you.

Kevin

I've put it out of my mind.
