Location: Iowa | I would just like to send out a huge thanks to Steve Herbeck and the Andy Myers staff for showing my dad and I a great time and catering to our every needs...Steve truly runs a stand up operation and truly cares about putting each one of his guests on fish...For the 4 days we were there we managed 3 fish; a 43x19, 43x18, and 37x15...plus we saw some of the biggest fish we had both ever seen...My dad also lost one of the biggest muskies I have ever seen on a figure 8 boatside (realistically in the 52-56 inch range and easily 40 pounds if she was an ounce)...it seem like it took 10 minutes but probably only lasted 30 seconds...the fish came in and went around on the eight and took my dads double cowgirl the came up and thrashed on the surface only to spit the hooks back at us...it was such a freaking cow, words can't even express the size of this fish...all in all though it was a good trip...we had a chance to put hooks into 7 muskies and got 3 to the boat, all on figure eights, and all on the same double cowgirl (christmas tree)...definetly going to make it back next year...picutres to follow...met Muskyhopeful and his crew up there...what a stand up guy he was..it was really great to meet such a great guy on his first muskie trips with his friends...Kevin, if you read this, it really was a pleasure to share a table and camp with you and your friends...hang in there buddy...(Muskyhopeful has one he!! of a story to tell but I'll leave that for him)

Location: oswego, il | I miss going to eagle. Fished it all through the 70's as a kid. Knew the west arm really well, by the time I was 16 my younger brother and I were off on our own in our own boat. Those were the days. |
