Location: Carbondale, IL | I fished two area lakes this weekend and the water temps were 75-77 degrees. My assumption is that they should be similar. |

Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | 7 in the boat this week. Fishing is still slow, but moving smaller fish every day. Had a 3 fish day on Friday after the cold front that moved through. Water temps in high 60's low 70's. Hot weather the next couple days. |

Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | Was only out for a 1/2 day trip. Water temps up to 72 in most of the lake Cold North wind with scattered clouds. Not to many muskie guys out today. Client nailed a 38.5 on a llungen tail right off the bat. I blew one on a glide bait. Then he pops a 3lb bass on a pacemaker right after dark. Fun day to be on the water! |

Location: Carbondale, IL | Got out today, caught one small muskie(20") and had a mid 30 follow, not too good of a day, but what a wonderful day to be on the water!! |

| October 9, I fished for 3 hours. Began at 11:00 and fished until 2:00. Caught a mid-30's inch fish on a suick. Saw a number of people fishing. Crappie fishermen were complaining that the bite was off.

Thanks |

| Yes, they started stocking smallies in Kinkaid. Go to Chad Cain's web page and you can get the details of the muskie, walleye and smallmouth stocking.
