I fished two area lakes this weekend and the water temps were 75-77 degrees. My assumption is that they should be similar.

7 in the boat this week. Fishing is still slow, but moving smaller fish every day. Had a 3 fish day on Friday after the cold front that moved through. Water temps in high 60's low 70's. Hot weather the next couple days.

Was only out for a 1/2 day trip. Water temps up to 72 in most of the lake Cold North wind with scattered clouds. Not to many muskie guys out today. Client nailed a 38.5 on a llungen tail right off the bat. I blew one on a glide bait. Then he pops a 3lb bass on a pacemaker right after dark. Fun day to be on the water!

Got out today, caught one small muskie(20") and had a mid 30 follow, not too good of a day, but what a wonderful day to be on the water!!

October 9, I fished for 3 hours. Began at 11:00 and fished until 2:00. Caught a mid-30's inch fish on a suick. Saw a number of people fishing. Crappie fishermen were complaining that the bite was off.

Yes, they started stocking smallies in Kinkaid. Go to Chad Cain's web page and you can get the details of the muskie, walleye and smallmouth stocking.
