Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Just discovered the 2nd line guide on one of my G Loomis rod's is missing the insert. Need a local repair service fast- I have a 7-day Canadain fly-in trip last week of Sept. Any recommendations for repair within 100 miles of Mauston would be greatly appreciated.

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Call GLoomis, see if it is covered under their Xpeditor program. Though maybe a few bucks more than getting it fixed, for $50 they will send you a brand new rod, if that is covered under their program. |

call DW Sports in Portage, they've got a guy who does great work on guide-eye repair.
see if they can get it done in time (shouldn't be a problem) and if you want you can drop it off to me at work and i'll take it in to the shop, then do a return trip when it's fixed.
