Just discovered the 2nd line guide on one of my G Loomis rod's is missing the insert. Need a local repair service fast- I have a 7-day Canadain fly-in trip last week of Sept. Any recommendations for repair within 100 miles of Mauston would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Al

Call GLoomis, see if it is covered under their Xpeditor program. Though maybe a few bucks more than getting it fixed, for $50 they will send you a brand new rod, if that is covered under their program.

Al,
call DW Sports in Portage, they've got a guy who does great work on guide-eye repair.
see if they can get it done in time (shouldn't be a problem) and if you want you can drop it off to me at work and i'll take it in to the shop, then do a return trip when it's fixed.
