| I will be fishing Leech, Cass and Bemidji this summer. Since they are reasonably clear lakes, I am planning to go with natural colors (sucker, perch, cisco, etc.) lures. Am I off base here? Should I be using any brighter colors? Is there a hot color for any of these lakes? Thanks. | |

| You can't go wrong with the natural colored baits, but don't limit your baits to only naturals. I have caught several fish on gawdy colors you just never know. Orange is always a good color on Leech. Red is also a favorite color. If you have a partner each throw diferent colors till a pattern is set. Think Cisco's for suspended fish, blues and silvers.
Good luck, Murph! | |
